The 62^nd Pott Foundation Tri-State Science and Engineering Fair has been scheduled for March 10-11, 2011 and will once again be held on the campus of the University of Southern Indiana and sponsored by the Pott Foundation and the Pott College of Science and Engineering.

      The 2010 fair drew 520 students who participated in both individual and team projects. Nearly 1100 area elementary, middle and high school students enjoyed a visit to campus for field trips during the science fair open house. Quite an impression was made not only by the high quantity of exhibits, but also by the phenomenal quality of science demonstrated by these participants.  Several $1500 renewable USI scholarships were awarded, as well as several laptop computers and monetary awards. 

     Special congratulations go out to Tony Huang, who attends Reitz High School and Lewis Nugent who attends North Daviess High School. They were the 2010 Senior Division Grand Award Winners and qualified to compete at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in San Jose, California in May 2010.
