The USI Student Health Center, located in the lower level of the Health Professions Center, is a full-service clinic offering medical services and health-related information to students, faculty, and staff. We recognize that health and education are precious assets. Our goal is to help you maintain or improve your health, allowing you to reach your highest potential both in and out of the classroom. The health care providers at the Student Health Center are employed by Deaconess Hospital, and work in harmony with the University to meet the health needs of the students.

Our medical director, Thomas Davidson M.D., is a board certified family practice physician with an MBA and Certified Physician Executive, CHE, FAAFP. Dr. Karen Brake is a board certified family medicine specialist.  She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  Dr. Brake graduated from the University of Illinois College of medicine and trained in residency at Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio.
 
Beth Vincent FNP-BC graduated from University of Evansville with her BSN and MSN and Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana with her Family Nurse Practitioner.
