Student Life

more exciting
   more fulfilling
        more for you to do

Introducing the improved and expanded services and programs that the student activity fee will bring to you.

Your wishes were heard
University of Southern Indiana students have been asking for additional improvements to the quality of life on campus - more recreation, more special events, more speakers, more of everything to do on campus.

Your SGA made a recommendation
The Student Government Association recommended that the University implement a student activity fee beginning with the fall semester 2001. Like other universities in Indiana and nationwide, USI will use these funds to provide an enriched atmosphere for all students.

Your cost is modest
USI continues to have the most affordable tuition and fees of any state-supported four-year institution in the state. The student activity fee will appear on your bill at the rate of $25 a semester and $5 for each summer session.

Your investment entitles you to take advantage of all services and participate in any programs provided for students.

Your benefits are assured
As USI enrollment grows, the cost of providing student programs and activities also increases. The new student activity fee assures that present programs and services can continue and that significant new programs and services can be introduced.

For answers to questions you may have, contact the Office of the Dean of Students at 812/464-1862.

Just look at a few of the student programs and services representative of what the student activity fee could support!
