Excuse Policy
The USI Student Health Center does not provide written statements to students who are seen for illness or injuries unless a written request is brought from the professor.
The statement will be limited to saying the student was seen at the center.No excuses will be given during finals.
The USI Student Health Center will verify
prolonged or serious illness to faculty if questions remain after discussion
with the student.
Minor problems will not be verified.
Due to confidentiality
policies, the nature of the problem cannot be discussed without the consent of
the student.
