
Creating Excellent
Organizations Workshops
The C.E.O. Workshops are designed to help student organizations and their
leaders to learn about the resources available to them and to teach valuable
skills that will improve the groups. From how to apply for SGA grants to
how to win awards, the C.E.O. Series is a must for any student
organization. The 2007-2008 C.E.O. Workshop schedule is as follows:

| This presentation will cover
information that your organization needs to know about how to complete
the applications for the Student Government Association programming and
travel grants. |

| October 20* | Presidents' Roundtable Discussion |

| This is an excellent
opportunity for presidents from a variety of organizations to interact
and discuss similar issues/concerns that your organizations are facing. |

| Sign up to attend the Dinner
Etiquette Workshop! This Workshop will cover appropriate etiquette in a
variety of situations. Business Casual dress is required for this event
and a meal will be provided. -Please note that this program will begin at 4:30 p.m. There is also a $5.00 fee associated with this program. This program is limited to 50 students. |

| This workshop will address
how to apply for various recognition awards such as leadership awards,
scholarships, or how to prepare a portfolio. The emphasis of this
workshop will be how to market your skills acquired through organization
involvement. |

| At this workshop, you will find out how your
organization may become involved in Welcome Week by sponsoring an event during
Welcome Week. This is an excellent opportunity to let new students learn about
your organization and membership. |

| April 13* | Officer Transition |

| This workshop will provide your organization with the necessary tools to perform an effective officer transition. |
If you or your organizations are interested in participating in one or more of these workshops, you may sign up by calling the Office of Student Development Programs at 812-465-7167.
*Indicates that these sessions require that
you sign up in advance by the deadline. A minimum of 5 students must be signed
up by 12 p.m. the Friday before the scheduled session.
**The deadlines for the
Dinner Etiquette Workshops are as follows: November 8 - The deadline to
register is Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. February 18 - The deadline
to register is Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at 1:00 p.m.
