The Student Involvement Fair is an excellent opportunity to showcase your unique membership benefits and services. All USI registered student organizations and campus departments wishing to increase visibility, share information, and find new members are encouraged to participate. This event is open to community agencies and businesses. Participation in the fair costs nothing. Please take note of the following guidelines for the Student Involvement Fair.

Student Development will provide one 6' x 2 ½' table and two chairs for your display and distribution materials.
Groups CANNOT stake anything in the ground during the involvement fair.
Open flame, candles, water, angel hair, glitter, confetti, and straw are NOT permitted,
Selling items is not permitted,
and amplified sound is NOT permitted. Due to the location of the fair, electrical outlets will not be an option. If groups choose to have small battery operated radios, the volume MUST remain at a low level because classes will be in session.
Selling items is not permitted.
Businesses may distribute information regarding their services and give away items.
Tables must be staffed at all times and staff must stay by their table. You will NOT be allowed to stand or walk in other areas of the facility to promote your business.

The deadline to register is Noon on Tuesday, September 2, 2009. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis.

INCLEMENT WEATHER PROCEDURES - In the event of inclement weather, the Student Involvement Fair will be cancelled for Wednesday, September 9, and will be rescheduled for Wednesday, September 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All policies, procedures, time, and location will still apply for the September 16 date. Participants signed up for the fair will be notified by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8 if the fair will be cancelled. In the event that there is inclement weather on September 16, participants will be notified by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15. If the fair is cancelled for September 16, the event will not be rescheduled.
