USI Summer for Kids

USI’S SUMMER ENRICHMENT DAY CAMP

Need all-day care for your school-ager this summer? USI’s Summer Enrichment Camp for children grades K-6 is located at USI in the lower level of the Rice Library.

The camp includes many enrichment activities designed to promote educational, physical and social/emotional growth like swimming, field trips and experiences like science, art, cooking and more. Past field trip locations have included Harmonie & Audubon State Parks, Pump It Up, Wesselman Park, Franklin Lanes, Skate World, Auntie Anne’s, MEGA Gymnastics, Mesker Zoo, an Otters baseball game, Walther’s Golf & Fun, Willard Library, and the French Lick Splash Park.

Children may enroll full-time, or if space allows, part-time for the entire summer. The title SECamp will encompass all camps this year; however, the children will still be divided into KCamp 1 and KCamp 2 (for incoming Kindergarteners and first graders) and SECamp A and SECamp B (for 2nd through 6th graders). Limited spaces are available and priority is given to USI families. The program opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 5:30 p.m., Monday–Friday.

Call 812-228-5022 or email outreach@usi.edu for more information or visit: http://www.usi.edu/science/childrens-learning-center/summer-enrichment-camp-(secamp).
