ACHIEVE
ACHIEVE is an early intervention program that assists faculty in the identification, referral, and intervention of students at risk of failing one or more courses. By identifying students who need assistance early in the semester, the ACHIEVE program can help lay the foundation for academic success and increase students’ odds of success by the end of the semester.
Components of the ACHIEVE intervention:
- USI Faculty or Staff member identifies a student as being at-risk to failing.
- Faculty or Staff member refers the student to the ACHIEVE program.
- ACHIEVE coordinator contacts student with suggestions for course of action.
- ACHIEVE coordinator meets with student to develop a plan of action for success.
