Text Messaging For Advising Alerts

Text Messaging For Advising Alerts provides an automated service that sends text message reminders to students. Students who wish to participate in the Text Messaging For Advising Alerts service will receive (3) three or (4) four text messages reminding them of important academic events prior to their occurence. Those events may include but not be limited to the following:

Reminder to schedule and keep appointment with advisor to discuss next term’s classes before appointments are unavailable
Reminder about Majors/Minor Fair
Reminder about the last day to withdraw from a 16-week class without evaluation (will not affect GPA)

Participation in this service is strictly voluntary. Click the form icon or the "click here" link to open and complete the permission form whether you are participating in the service or "opting" out. After signing up for the Text Messaging For Advising Alerts service, you may "opt out" by simply emailing the UD Advising office at UDAdvise@usi.edu.
