Ceramics Center

The Lenny and Ann Dowhie Ceramics Center has classroom and laboratory space for academic programs of the Art Department. The 3,310 square foot facility is equipped with 20 new pottery wheels and stools; glazing and clay mixing rooms, and a terrace providing outdoor work space, including room for a variety of kilns. The Ceramics Center offers a view of Reflection Lake and the surrounding wooded area.

The Center, which opened in 2009, is named for retired ceramics professor Lenny Dowhie, who taught at USI for 33 years, and his wife Anne in recognition of their generous support of art programs at USI.
