Time Commitment

One-Time Events
Often these events or projects involve groups of volunteers on a specific day, such as Assessment Day, Varsity Club golf outing, or Alumni picnic.

Short-term Assignments
Volunteers are needed to assist with specific projects that have a particular time frame. These can range from a few days to a few hours for several months. Possible assignments could be Southern Hospitality Days and student registration.

On-going Commitments
Those who have ample time to give can volunteer on a regular basis. Such commitments include library and tour guides, office assistance, readers, note-takers, and tutors.

On-Call
After becoming a volunteer familiar with the work needed, you can offer your time in other ways such as filling in for other volunteers or assisting with unexpected projects.
