There are many opportunities to volunteer at the University of Southern Indiana, whether it be assisting with office work, taking tickets at an athletic games, or assisting with special events.  Click here to find additional information.

Community Volunteer Opportunities

Albion Fellows Bacon Center needs volunteers for sexual assault support, peer advocacy, community outreach, as well as indirect services. Call (812) 422-5622 or apply online at http://www.albionfellowsbacon.org/.

American Cancer Society needs volunteers to assist with advocacy, community events, patient services, and education. They are also looking for drivers to provide transportation to cancer patients for treatment.  Call (812) 475-9485 or apply online at http://www.cancer.org/.

American Red Cross needs volunteer caseworkers for day or evening shifts.  You would take calls from your home and training provided.  Also needs volunteers to help with blood drives greeting donors.  Call Joyce at 471-7200.

Angel Mounds State Historic Site needs volunteers age sixteen and over for predominately special events but there are a number of other indoor and outdoor volunteer opportunities as well. Their mission is to provide a safe reporting location for victims of intimate crimes, their families, and communities while providing support, promoting justice, and preventing violence.
