Volunteer of the Year 2003

For more than 10 years, Pat has given outstanding service to the USI community. He is dedicated to his role as a volunteer for the Athletics Department. Pat, a member of the Varsity Club Board of Directors from 1992-2000, continues to hold the position of chair of prizes for the Varsity Club Golf Scramble. He spends endless hours seeking prizes for goody bags and raffle items to be given away at the scramble. He even hosts volunteers at his home to organize the prizes and fill the goody bags. Pat volunteers his time for other events, such as the Varsity Club Steak Fry ‘n Auction, Fall Festival booth, assisting with mailings, and working softball concessions. He also organizes bus trips to away basketball games. In addition to giving time to Athletics, Pat has been a hospitality volunteer at the University home. Pat is also famous on campus for his kisses. He leaves a trail of chocolate kisses as he visits from one office to the next.
