Volunteer of the Year 2004

For 16 years, Mark has given remarkable service to the USI community. He brings a high level of passion to his role as a volunteer for the Athletics Department. Mark, chairman of the Varsity Club Board of Directors from 2000-2001 and a board member for nine years, gives endless hours to Varsity Club committees and events. As the chair of the Varsity Club Golf Scramble, Mark fills a leadership role with numerous responsibilities including event planning and organizing, acquiring sponsorships, and enthusiastically emcees the event. In spite of diminished corporate support in 2004, Mark ensured that the Varsity Club Golf Scramble was a success. He volunteers his time for other Varsity Club events, including the Steak Fry ’n Auction, Fall Festival booth, Appreciation Night, and Varsity Club Room.
