Jack L. Marr
Volunteer of the Year 2005
Over the last 30 years, Jack has given extraordinary service to the
University community in his role as a volunteer for the Athletics
Department, including tutoring student athletes since his retirement. In
addition to tutoring, Jack donates many hours to the Varsity Club and
other athletic events. He was the chair of the 2004-2005 Varsity Club
Board of Directors and a board member for seven years. He served as
treasurer and was vice chair for two years. Currently, Jack serves as
the membership chair. He has spent many hours preparing agendas, and
planning and leading monthly meetings. He also serves on the Athletic
Department Advisory Board.
