Lloyd D. Jost
Volunteer of the Year 1997

Over the past 18 years, Lloyd has given direction and leadership to the USI Varsity Club and to USI Athletics. His affection for USI and his commitment to help all athletic programs succeed is unsurpassed. He chaired the committee to build a new press box, concession stand, and storage facility for USI softball and cross country. The project was Lloyd's idea. He helped to raise the money, secure the donated products and services, and recruit other volunteers, while he personally worked over 299 hours to complete the building. Some of his other activities include chairing the Varsity Club's Fall Festival booth, and being a member of the Golf outing committee to recruit volunteers to help with the annual event.
