How To Qualify
Students are admitted to the program if they have a 2.5 GPA from high school.
To continue in the program, students must:
Maintain a 2.5 GPA at VU
Successfully complete 24 credits each year
Complete 75 percent of courses attempted each semester
While it is expected that at the end of two years the student will have completed an associate degree, students who do not can arrange for credits earned at USI to be used to achieve the associate degree from VU. It is expected that once the associate degree has been earned from VU, students work toward a baccalaureate degree at USI. Admission to USI programs with competitive admission standards (like nursing) cannot be guaranteed.
