Servers
To publish your web pages, you'll
need to have access to space on a web server:
- For course web sites,Distance Education will help you publish in Blackboard.
- Students may develop personal pages and sites for clubs and organizations. throughMyUSI.
- For other pages, you may use the USI server, a server that
someone in your department or group has already set up, or run a
web server on your own machine.
USI Web Server
The University maintains its own web server which hosts files published on the Internet. The web server is available for all colleges and departments. The purpose of the server is to post information, promote programs, and streamline operations for the enhancement of the University.
