Bonding Through Books Brunch

Each year, Living Learning Community students are mailed a book and asked to read it during the summer. This brunch gives you the opportunity to discuss the summer reading book with faculty and staff. Books are mailed in mid-July.
Synopsis: Based on the National Public Radio series of the same name, This I Believe features eighty essayists—from the famous to the unknown—completing the thought that begins the book’s title. Each piece compels readers to rethink not only how they have arrived at their own personal beliefs but also the extent to which they share them with others.
Note: We invite any new USI student to read the book and attend the Brunch. To help our international students transition to USI, students living in the Global Community are not required to participate.
