Why I love USI:
USI became my home away from home when I was attending college here. While USI is known for its beautiful campus, perfect size, and strong academic programs, I was mostly attracted to USI because of the hospitality and genuineness of all the individuals I interacted with when I visited campus. I dove headfirst into a variety of different extracurricular activities as an undergraduate student at USI. I enjoyed my time here so much, I didn’t want to leave! I wanted to ensure other students enjoyed their college experience as much as I did, so recruiting students to come to USI seemed like a natural fit.
Favorite USI Spot:
Recreational Fitness and Wellness Center. There are so many activities to participate in at the REC! Group exercise classes, the rock climbing wall, and my personal favorite, pickleball, are all activities students can participate in.
Favorite thing to do in/about Evansville:
Ford Center. Evansville is a large enough city to attract some of modern music’s most famous musicians. I have been lucky enough to attend several concerts at the Ford Center, including Carrie Underwood, Chris Young, and Luke Bryan.
For me, nothing is more important than my family. I have a wonderful husband, Reagan, who I love very much. He and I are both from Owensboro, KY, so we are blessed to be able to have our families within an hour drive of Evansville. Fitness is also very important to me. I try to go to the REC every day to keep healthy.
