Global Crossroads is a multicultural festival that celebrates food, music, education and culture from all over the globe. This free day-long festival in New Harmony, Indiana will highlight the diverse cultures that make up southwest Indiana. Celebrate inclusiveness from southern Indiana and beyond and join us on October 27, 2018 at the Ribeyre Center, 603 Main Street, New Harmony, IN 47631.
A free shuttle will depart from the Orr Center on USI's campus and will arrive at the Ribeyre Center in New Harmony. Free parking is available on campus. Below are the arrival and departure times:

Hula Dance Performance by Maui Chance
Maui will be performing a hula dance! She will also teach a dance to the audience after the performance.
Recyclocraftz is a fair trade/Trade school that helps make an educational eternal and economic difference in Zambia by working with men, women, and children who are unemployed, widowed, and orphaned.
Miss Moon Food Truck
Enjoy Miss Moon's food truck with Yakisoba Japanese noodles, Pad Thai, Fried rice, fried dumplings and more!
Lorena will be making empanadas, a very famous latin snack. This popular among Latin America food item is made of meat, pork, sausage or chicken.
Lumiere De Education Foundation Inc.
Lumiere De Education Foundation, Inc. (the Foundation) was established in 2017 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Currently, the Foundation consists of two co-founders and eight unpaid board members. The Foundation was created to provide free education to disadvantaged students in Haiti, one of the world’s poorest regions. The Foundation is currently providing food and an education to 170 underprivileged students attending the school, L’ecole Dinaus Mixed.
Bridges of Hope Fair Trade
Bridges of Hope provides dignity and independence to artisans around the world. Fair trade items include metal ware made from oil drums from Haiti, market baskets from Ghana, Africa, jewelry made in Guatemala, Peru, South Africa and Ecuador, greeting cards made from handmade paper from Kenya and more.
Reclaimed Lives International
Reclaimed Lives International sells handmade items made by women in Yangon, Myanmar. The proceeds of the items go directly back to pay a living wage and provide food and shelter to the ladies of Love Loom House.
Old North Fair Trade Market
The Old North Fair Trade Market is a volunteer-run shop stocks beautiful, handcrafted, fair trade items from all over the world. Items include metal sculptures, wooden puzzles, home goods, children's toys, coffee, tea, chocolate, olive oil and other food items.
PAX is an academic exchange program that brings high school students to the US to study and share in “our America”. PAX will share information about what hosting an exchange student looks like and more!
Timmy Global Health USI
Timmy Global Health is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing healthcare for developing nations. With a chapter at USI, Timmy Global Health focuses on local service, medical service trips, medical professional recruitment, fundraising, vitamin donations and global health advocacy.
Shui Lung Tai Chi
Sifu Ron has over 35 years experience in Tai Chi. He teaches classes and continues his personal study of the Chinese martial art. Ron will be offering Tai Chi demonstrations throughout the festival.

USI students share information about the mission work with Timmy Global Health, which expands access to healthcare and empowers students and volunteers to tackle today’s most pressing global health challenges. To achieve this goal, Timmy sends medical service teams to support the work of international partner organizations and channels financial, medical, and human resources to community based health and development projects.×
