10 student conference registrations valued at $60 each
Join us for this unique opportunity to attend both days of the Mid-America Institute on Aging and Wellness (MAIA) conference at USI and also enjoy a 2-hour lunch and tour of a Trilogy's West River Health Campus on Thursday, August 10. Students accepted for the Trilogy-MAIA Collaboration will have a chance to network and learn during the MAIA conference and also gain insight into Trilogy's culture and philosophy related to the care of older adults.
Space is limited to the first 10 students who meet the following criteria.
The Mid-America Institute on Aging and Wellness, co-sponsored by USI and SWIRCA & More, is held annually during the second week of August.
Dates for 2018: Thursday, August 9 and Friday, August 10, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Tour and luncheon at West River Health Campus will be either Thursday or Friday)
Full-time students at the University of Southern Indiana enrolled in an undergraduate degree program which prepares them to seek employment in the fields of gerontology, geriatrics, long-term care and/or long-term care administration.
Preference shall be given to students who have an interest in working with elders in a health-related career.
Preference shall be given to undergraduate students who have junior or senior status or graduate students with at least one academic year of study remaining at the time the award is received.
Students who are in good academic standing at the University of Southern Indiana and maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher on a 4.0 scale when the funding is awarded and received.
The registration award is not automatically renewable, but may be renewed if the recipient continues to meet the eligibility requirements of the award.
