A dementia friendly community is a village, town, city or county that is informed, safe and respectful of individuals with the disease, their families and caregivers and provides supportive options that foster quality of life.

Support Group for Students Who Are Dementia Care Partners

An Alzheimer’s Association support group at the Minka Learning Lab for dementia care partners shares information, insight, advice and encouragement. Led by a trained facilitator, support groups provide an opportunity to learn from others who face the same challenges in a collaborative setting.

Fall Semester:
