The IT department has selected computer options as the Institutional Standard. If you want/need a non-standard computer system, please contact the IT Department Operations Manager before you order. A non-standard computer system may have limited on-site support and may incur vendor based support fees.
To purchase an Apple device - go to USI Tech Store located in the Campus Store
*All centrally-funded computers are shipped directly to the Information Technology department. The machine will be built with the standard software and build. The Desktop Install Team will contact the department/purchaser to schedule an install time.
Redeployed University Computer Equipment (for use on campus)
The USI Computer Redeployment Program allows departments to procure a gently used lab computer (usually about 3 years old) for a reasonable cost. These systems are still the property of USI and will be added to the requesting department's inventory. To inquire about available items, send an email to "it @ usi .edu" requesting a Redeployed computer.
