Joan deJong, MFA, Graphic Design
Department Chair

Joan Kempf deJong is an Associate Professor of Art and Chair of the Department of Art at the University of Southern Indiana. She has nearly 20 years of teaching experience and has taught courses in graphic design, computer graphics, multimedia, web design, and illustration. She also has over 20 years of professional experience during which her design work was distributed nationally.

Ms. deJong received her BA in Fine Arts, with a double major in art studio and art history from Indiana University. She earned her MFA from Marywood University in Pennsylvania with additional studies in New York City.

Her current work consists of mixed media and computer-generated 3D graphics.
