If item(s) are not returned within 30 calendar days after the date due, item(s) will be declared lost, and the borrower will be assessed the current replacement cost of the item in addition to a non-refundable $20.00 processing fee. (Exceptions are laptops which are assessed lost after 1 day overdue).
If a patron has library material that is in Lost status, until the item/items are returned or paid for there will be a registration hold put on their account.
FINES and FEES
- Books/items located in the General Collection $.25 per day
- DVDs, Music CDs, Spoken Word, VHS $1.00 per day
- VGA adapters $1.00 per day
- Laptops $1.00 per minute per item
- iPads/Tablets $10.00 per day
- Reserve items:
- 2 hour $.10 per minute
- 24 hour $2.00 per day
- 3 day $2.00 per day
- 1 week $1.00 per day
Lost items: Replacement cost(s) plus $20.00 non-refundable processing fee per item.
Damaged items, Cost of binding or replacement depending on extent of damage.
Damaged equipment, laptops and iPads and their accessories remain the property of USI.
