Students will see the Screaming Eagles Orientation icon when they are eligible to make a reservation for orientation and their advising and course registration appointment. Students will receive an email when it is time for them to make their reservation. If a student has received the email and still can't see the icon, contact New Student and Transitional Programs at 812-465-7167 or firstname.lastname@example.org so we can assist.

When you meet with an advisor, they will provide a list of classes that you should enroll in for the upcoming semester. You will select your advising appointment when you make your reservation for orientation. If you have other questions related to your advising appointment you can connect with your advising center.
To Connect with Advising Centers:

No, you do not need to have your placement testing done prior to making an orientation reservation. We do ask that you complete your placement testing prior to your advising and registration appointment.
For foreign language placement tests, the student will work with their academic advisor to best determine what language to take. Changes to level of course can be made once classes begin as well.
You will take your picture in the morning of Screaming Eagles Orientation and will be able to pick-up at end of day. If you are an upper-level transfer or adult student and won't be attending Screaming Eagles Orientation, you may get yours at the Eagle Access Card office during their office hours.
The cost for students to participate in an orientation program is included on your first tuition bill as the matriculation fee. This fee covers the cost of orientation, Welcome Week, and other new student programs. This is a one-time, non-refundable fee paid by all new students to the University who register for classes.
If a student is interested in trying out for the USI Chamber Choir, USI Women's Choir, or the USI Jazz Band, they should contact Dan Craig (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.
