Online Orientation

The University of Southern Indiana has two online orientation programs. Please select the one for which you meet the criteria.

New Student Online Orientation (Click Here to Begin)

Designed for students meeting the following criteria:

  • Freshman students
  • Transfer students with less than 60 credit hours

This online orientation will take you 2-3 hours to complete. You don't need to do it in one sitting but will need to log in with the same information for the system to remember where you left off. Advisors will contact you for an advising and registration appointment based upon your Orientation: Virtual Advising and Registration date.

Online Orientation works best using the Google Chrome browser.

Upper-Level Transfer/Adult Online Orientation (Click Here to Begin)

Designed for students meeting the following criteria:

  • Transfer students that have an associate's degree or who will have completed 60 credit hours at previous institution(s) when they begin courses at USI.
  • Adult students (25 years of age or older)
  • Students in the military that are unable to make an on-campus orientation or need to get registered early to get military benefits
  • Students taking all of their courses through distance education
  • Students in the RN-BSN program

Transfer/Adult Online Orientation will take you 60-90 minutes to complete. After completing online orientation, it is your responsibility to contact the College of your major, or Center for Exploring Majors if you are undecided, to schedule an appointment for advising and registration.
