Day on the Bus

2019 Theme:  "Recruiting Tomorrow's Talent"

Day on the Bus is a workforce development program aimed to educate faculty in the growing workforce trends and requirements of the southwest Indiana region.

Started in 2006 by former director for the Center for Applied Research, Sue Ellspermann, Day on the Bus is a collaborative program which includes faculty from University of Evansville, Vincennes University, Ivy Tech Community College and University of Southern Indiana. For one day a year, faculty and administrators tour southwest Indiana employers, learn how to prepare students for the developing workforce and share best practices among educational peers.

9:00 a.m.     AmeriQual Facility Tour
11:15 a.m.   Anchor Industries Tour (with lunch provided)
1:30 p.m.     SICTC Facility Tour
2:30 p.m.    “Regional Talent Pipeline” Panel Discussion @ SICTC

4:00 p.m.    Wrap up / Debrief at Old National Bank
