2020 Information

We are currently working to improve our annual parade by listening to you, our participating veteran organizations and citizens of our great community.

Please know that we rely on many state and local agencies to approve our plans and provide permits for our staging areas and route preparation.  This can delay the flow of information so we ask for you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

We work with many community veteran organizations, businesses and local supporters to provide a parade that honors ALL Veterans.  No Veteran organization that wants to participate has ever been turned away and we welcome the opportunity to honor them in our annual parade.

on updated information concerning the staging (line-up) area and parade route.  We are waiting on final coordination between the state and city, but please know that there are some changes coming to make the parade better and more safe for our participants and community spectators.

PARADE SPECIFICS

The staging (line-up) area will be open from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.  Please have your entry, materials and personnel at your assigned space within those hours.

We ask that you do not have items to distribute to the crowd (not limited to candy, pencils, handouts) as this creates a safety concern during and after the parade as well as a littering and clean-up issue.  Our city and private associations work hard to keep our city and parade route beautiful for all residents and visitors.

Thank you for your cooperation.
