Fall 2019 Assessment Day - Tuesday, September 10th
No classes are scheduled on Assessment Day on or off campus.
No additional testing times will be offered after Sept. 10.
Be sure to check your USI email and your mailbox for information on times and locations for information about Assessment Day.
If you do not attend Assessment Day, you must provide documentation such as a doctor's note, car repair bill, etc. as evidence for an excused absence. Documentation must be provided within 10 business days after Assessment Day or it will not be accepted. Priority registration holds will not be removed without proper documentation, see examples below:
No holds will be removed after 9/24/2019.

Fall Assessment Day is comprised of two sections:
1. ETS - Proficiency Profile
First-time, full-time freshmen and seniors who began their academic career at USI . The test consists of 36 questions in a 40-minute timed test.
2. Senior and Freshmen Experience Surveys
Seniors and Freshmen will be given a survey that contains questions from various departments and groups on campus. The average survey will take approximately 20 minutes.

If you arrive late for your testing time, go to the Rice Library first-floor lobby information desk to be included in late testing that begins 30 minutes after each assigned testing time.
