Andrew Wickerham '18

For Andrew Wickerham ’18, the connections he was able to establish in his time at USI allowed him to obtain two jobs while finishing his masters degree in sport management at USI.

Wickerham is a graduate assistant for Housing and Residence Life at USI and Cottage Concierge at Victoria National Golf Club. USI helped him land these positions because of his involvement during his undergraduate studies. He was a part of the Sport Management Club, the Screaming Eagles Running Series and several other organizations.

Experience executing the running series, working with different organizations, and managing events through internships, helped Wickerham secure the position within housing at USI. Then, another member of the Sport Management Club helped him secure a second position at Victoria National.

Wickerham says he would choose the same path again because it is what he is passionate about. He would love to continue his career in event management, hospitality within sport, or in higher education.
