The Engineering and Manufacturing Creativity Camp (EMC2) is an online camp made possible by the Southwest Indiana STEM Resource Center and the University of Southern Indiana Engineering Department. It will give you a chance to learn what engineers do through a series of exciting online activities.

Topics included are:

  • Raspberry Pi operation
  • Python programming with GPIO
  • LED light circuits
  • Motor control
  • Computer-Aided Design/drafting (CAD)

You will need: Internet service, access to a TV or monitor with HDMI input. . Also, you will need a laptop or smartphone with the Zoom app for watching instructions and troubleshooting. This is an experience you won't want to miss!

Date:  July 12 - 16, 2021

Location:  Online

Registration Fee: No charge; however, a $50 deposit is required for the Raspberry Pi loan. The deposit will be refunded upon the equipment's return to USI. 

Note: At no charge, we will deliver/pick up Raspberry Pi's that are loaned to participants that live within a 50-mile radius of the USI campus. If you live outside of the 50-mile radius, please contact the camp instructor for shipping arrangements.
