USI men's basketball still second in region poll

EVANSVILLE, Ind. The University of Southern Indiana men's basketball team remained second in the latest NCAA Division II Great Lakes Region poll that was released Wednesday. USI, which is ranked eighth nationally, continues to trail the GLIAC's University of Findlay in the region poll.

USI was trailed in the region by Quincy University, who is tied with the Eagles for the top spot of the West Division Grand Valley State University, who leads the GLIAC's North Division and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, who is tied for third in the GLVC's East Division. The GLVC's Drury University and Northern Kentucky University were ranked sixth and seventh, respectively, while Mercyhurst College rounds out the top eight.
