Sullivan and Hall named second team All-Region
EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana senior guard Melvin Hall (Evansville, Indiana) and senior center Rashard Sullivan (Miami, Florida) were named to the Daktronics All-Great Lakes Region second team in a vote by the NCAA Division II Sports Information Directors.
Hall, who was the GLVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player in last week's league tournament championship run, leads the Screaming Eagles with 14.8 points per game and became the first player in the history of the program to sink over 100 three-point field goals in a season. The second team All-GLVC performer has a USI single-season record 101 three-pointers this year.
Sullivan, who was named to the first team All-GLVC last week, ranks second on the team with 12.7 points per game and is grabbing a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. He also has a team-high 50 blocks this season to go along with six double-doubles.
USI begins NCAA Division II Tournament play this weekend in the Great Lakes Regional, hosted by the University of Findlay. The Eagles play Rockhurst University in the first round Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
