Rashard Sullivan

EVANSVILLE, Ind. University of Southern Indiana senior center Rashard Sullivan (Miami, Florida) was named honorable mention All-American by the Division II Bulletin. Sullivan becomes the 15th USI player to earn All-America honors.

Sullivan, who was named to the first team All-GLVC, ranked second on the team with 12.6 points per game (ppg) and grabbed a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game (rpg). He also had a team-high 52 blocks this season to go along with six double-doubles.

The Disney Division II Tip-Off Classic Most Outstanding Player also was named to the first team All-Great Lakes Region by the National Association of Basketball Coaches, while senior guard Melvin Hall (Evansville, Indiana) was named second team All-Region.

Hall, who was the GLVC Tournament Most Outstanding Player in USI's championship run, led the Screaming Eagles with 14.8 ppg and became the first player in the history of the program to sink over 100 three-point field goals in a year with a single-season record 103 long-range buckets.

During his two-year career at USI, Hall averaged 14.0 ppg, sank 185 three-point field goals, and shot 43.5 percent from the beyond the arc (185-425).
