EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women’s soccer team defeated Kentucky Wesleyan College, 3-0, Friday night at Strassweg Field to snap a four-game losing streak and improve its record to 2-7-0 overall and 1-2-0 in the GLVC.

Freshman forward Katie Grossman (Evansville, Indiana) scored on a feed from sophomore back Meghan O’Rourke (Evansville, Indiana) in the 39th minute to give the Screaming Eagles all they would need.

Gant had an assist in Ferguson’s goal.

The Eagles will wrap up their four-game homestand Sunday when they host the University of Findlay at Strassweg Field. Kick-off is slated for 1:30 p.m.
