Every year USI designs TLCs just for YOU, so tell us what you want!
For Screagles starting in Fall 2023: When you fill out your TLC application, you'll get to rank your top five TLC themes from a list of possibilities. Most TLCs house about 28 students, so we want to make sure we have a thriving community for you.
By the first week of March, we'll reach out and tell you which TLC themes were most popular for next year! We will choose the top 3-5 TLC themes for each year...or even more, if we have enough interest from students.
After the TLCs have been announced, you'll get to opt into one of the TLCs or you can choose to live in standard housing.
For Fall 2023, you can preference:
College of Liberal Arts TLC - for students majoring in the arts, humanities, or social sciences
Education TLC - for students in early childhood education, special education, elementary education, or secondary education
Exploring Majors TLC - for students still deciding on their major OR on their future careers
Pride TLC - for students wanting an inclusive community for all genders and sexualities
Recreation TLC - for students who love being active, whether sports and fitness, outdoor adventures, or something else
Romain College of Business TLC - for all students with Business majors
Service & Leadership TLC - for students who want to focus on leadership and community service
