April 10, 2024

The speaker for the College of Liberal Arts Ceremony is Shane Dearing, 2007 Bachelor of Science in Political Science graduate. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of SAIVA AI based in Palo Alto, California, Dearing occupies a pivotal role in propelling the company toward unprecedented growth, scalability and financial success. He leads a dynamic management team comprised of Ivy League pedigree and Fortune 500 talent, providing strategic direction in crucial areas such as market development, growth optimization and client acquisition. Under Dearing’s leadership, SAIVA AI has fostered a corporate culture defined by honesty, humility and hard work.

Prior to his tenure at SAIVA AI, Dearing assumed the role of Executive Vice President for Growth at Real Time Medical Systems in Baltimore, Maryland. Here, he led initiatives that drove revenue growth, honed the go-to market strategies of sales teams and orchestrated strategic partnerships and government relations endeavors that resulted in public-private partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes in the geriatric and indigent patient populations of Michigan, Maryland and Pennsylvania. He has held roles of significant responsibility in a variety of industries, including as Principal Consultant at Seneca Strategies Group, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he advised early-stage digital health startups to create paths to market entry and expansion. Dearing cut his teeth in business leadership during account and corporate roles at Medline Industries, in Northfield, Illinois, managing and developing a business unit responsible for $1.2B in revenue as Vice President and Executive Vice President of Post Acute National Accounts.

Dearing’s journey of leadership and impact extends further, but the most important, meaningful and fulfilling work he does is be husband to his wife Megan, father to his three sons and friend to whoever will put up with him. He devotes his spare time to prayer, the study of scripture and history, as well as coaching football and wrestling for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. The remainder of his time is spent enjoying the company of his family and watching his sons Samuel, Simon and Silas play lacrosse.
