Residential students are required to sign up for a move-in time. Room keys and move-in materials will be distributed upon arrival.

5-6:30 p.m. | Family Dinner | University Center (UC)
9 a.m.–1 p.m. | Eagle Experience: Academic Success | Academic Colleges
9:30 a.m. | College Meetings | Meet faculty and other new students in your college and learn how to get involved in your major.
11:00 a.m. | Screagle Pride and Spirit | Kick off Welcome Week with your fellow classmates to learn the USI fight song, ignite your school spirit and become a Screagle in the Screaming Eagles Arena.
12:00 p.m. | Quad Photo | Meet on The Quad to take the official Class of 2029 photo!
12:10 p.m. | Lunch with Faculty | Have lunch with faculty and other new students in your college.
The 2026 Distinguished Students will be announced at the end of this year's Convocation.
