Where is the Fraternity & Sorority Life Office?
The Fraternity & Sorority Life Office is in the Center for Campus Life located in the basement of University Center East. 

Where can I find current FSL membership and academic reports? 
Chapter presidents are sent midterm reports after posting by the Assistant Director: Center for Campus Life - Fraternity/Sorority Life. To find all end of semester reports, click HERE.

How many organizations are on campus?

What are the requirements for a PNM to join my chapter?
Any student at USI considering joining a fraternity or sorority must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be enrolled at a minimum 12 credit hours. To join a Panhellenic sorority, a minimum 2.5 GPA is required. To join an Interfraternity Council fraternity, a minimum 2.6 GPA is required. Some chapters and councils have a higher minimum GPA set by their (inter)national organization.

Who is actually in charge of fraternities and sororities?
Each chapter elects individuals to govern the day-to-day operations of the chapter and to oversee the enforcement of (inter)national rules and regulations on USI’s campus. Additionally, each chapter has an alumni advisor who can assist the chapter in ensuring compliance with (inter)national policies. Finally, the Assistant Director: Center for Campus Life - Fraternity/Sorority Life is a full time professional who oversees the functioning of every chapter on campus and serves as the primary contact for the USI fraternity and sorority community.

Who is the Assistant Director: Center for Campus Life - Fraternity/Sorority Life?

Matthew "Matt" Hanks has served as the Assistant Director: Center for Campus Life - Fraternity/Sorority Life since November 2022. As a lifetime member of Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity, Matt brings 15+ years of FSL experience to USI. Through servant leadership he strives to empower and foster growth in the students he advises. Outside of FSL, Matt's passions are being a "girl-dad", playing music, following his favorite basketball teams, watching cheesy movies with friends and disc golfing.
