Certificate Programs

All of our certificate programs are delivered to the learner over the Internet. Online learning allows participants to "attend class" any time of day or the night during the program dates. Program faculty are experienced online teachers and are very knowledgeable about the topics they cover.

Nationally known clinical practitioners, who are experts in their field, have contributed to program development and remain available to respond to questions posed by course participants. The program schedule provides flexibility and the convenience of learning in one's home or office.

ANCC Accredited Distincion Logo V6 Provider  Accreditation with Distinction

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has awarded its highest accreditation rating to the College of Nursing and Health Professions continuing education programs at the University of Southern Indiana through November 30, 2018.  According to data released in 2012, less than ten percent of all ANCC-accredited organizations achieve this honor.  “The College of Nursing and Health Professions is committed to lifelong learning,” said Dr. Ann White, Dean of the College of Nursing and Health Professions.  “Nursing and other health professions require continuing education to enhance knowledge, skills, and competencies within their specialties.  Very few programs are awarded this honor so to earn this rating affirms the quality of our educational programs.”

Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education

The University of Southern Indiana (USI) School of Nursing and Health Professions works closely with the Indiana Pharmacists Alliance to offer several online continuing pharmacy education (CPE) programs. The Indiana Pharmacists Alliance (IPA) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. Refer to the course descriptions to determine if the course includes CPE and review the requirements.
