This award supports undergraduate research in collaboration with a sponsoring faculty member in the Pott College. Application Deadline: 4:30 PM on Friday, November 1, 2024; Award Limit: $1,000.
Proposals are invited from faculty members who are initiating a new project, continuing current research, or completing a project from the Science, Engineering, and Education Research Grant Award (SEERGA). Early career faculty members will have priority for this funding. There is a total of $15,000 available for the 2023-24 academic year. Application Deadline: November 1, 2024. The maximum amount that may be requested by each proposal is $5,000.
The Pott College of Science, Engineering, and Education promotes and encourages innovative outreach, retention, and teaching-learning practices through research and teaching-based strategies focused on undergraduate success. The Pott College Innovation Fund supports faculty, staff, and students in developing a national reputation in effective student outreach, retention, and success. The Pott College Interdisciplinary Research Grant encourages collaborative work among tenured and non-tenured faculty from multiple disciplines. The goal of this award is to bring together teams of investigators to apply complementary approaches to work on important areas of collaborative scholarship.
