The Environmental Health and Safety office at the University of Southern Indiana plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. The EHS office is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs to promote occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance across the university campus.

The office conducts regular inspections, provide training and guidance on safety practices, and oversee hazardous waste management, chemical safety, emergency preparedness, and other related areas. The University of Southern Indiana (8600 University Boulevard, Evansville, Indiana 47712) intends to continue to discharge stormwater into the following watersheds:
