John Morris is an Instructor of Radio and TV and the Faculty Advisor of 95.7 The Spin. John has been at USI since 1992, first as an adjunct professor and announcer for USR sports and radio, and became an Instructor and Faculty Advisor for the radio station in 1998. He has won national audio production awards and students he has advised at the radio station have won hundreds of national and state awards in production, performance and other areas. John also announces U.S.I. games for ESPN+. Prior to his shift to the college life, John worked in radio sports, news and sales at radio stations in Indiana, Idaho and Missouri and has degrees from the University of Wyoming and Indiana State University. He has also served as CBI president for the past five years.
