Bio

Dr. Sally Vogl-Bauer is a tenured Associate Professor in Communication Studies and a College Core Assessment Facilitator (CCAF) for the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Southern Indiana.  She has studied a variety of interpersonal communication issues and relationships, and was a member of the National Communication Association's Anti-Bullying Task Force, where she focused on the cyberbullying of instructors.  She has also held several administrative positions that guide her approach and understanding of ethical interpersonal communication issues. Dr. Vogl-Bauer has published articles in national and regional communication journals, as well as written chapters in edited interpersonal scholarly books.  She has also co-authored an interpersonal communication textbook titled "Your Interpersonal Communication: Nature/Nurture Intersections", and is the solo-author of an ethical interpersonal communication textbook titled "Communicating Ethically in Our Everyday Lives."  She remains interested in learning how ethical as well as unethical messages impact both senders and receivers
