Have you exhausted your financial aid but still have an outstanding balance on your student account? Are you not getting as much family support as you expected? Have you or your family experienced loss of employment, the birth of a child, divorce, or death that has changed your financial situation? Are you having trouble affording the basics such as food and housing? Have you made poor financial decisions and do not know where to turn for help? The University understands the financial pressures that some students and families face. Paying for tuition, fees, books, and related expenses can become a significant burden if life circumstances change unexpectedly. Rather than focusing on their education, students can find themselves distracted by these burdens.

The goal of the Financial Care Team is to assist students who find themselves in unexpected financial distress. The team will thoroughly assess each situation and direct the student to the appropriate resources on campus for assistance with payment options, employment opportunities, housing, personal budgeting skills, or financial resources.

If you or someone you know is struggling financially, the Financial Care Team may be able to help. To make a referral, click on the Financial Care Team logo and complete the referral. The information shared with the Financial Care Team will remain confidential.
