Vice Chair Nominations
Stacy Draper
Stacy Draper serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Deputy Chief Information Officer at USI. Stacy holds an associate’s degree in business administration and a bachelor's degree in professional studies. Stacy's tenure at USI has allowed her to work with an incredible team to build USI's IT Security program. In addition to managing the campus IT Security program, she participates in USI’s data governance initiative. Stacy also supports the IT function as Deputy Chief Information Officer including servicing as interim Chief Information Officer in 2022. Stacy is a driven servant leader and believes team unity will achieve optimal results. Stacy served as an at-large senator in 2018 and has remained active with the Outreach Committee over the years. Stacy is running for the Vice Chair position in Administrative Senate and looks forward to working with the university's administration to be a part of maximum USI strengths.
Aaron Pryor
Dr. Aaron Pryor currently serves as the Assistant Director for Counseling and Psychological Services, where he provides mental health therapy to USI students. His commitment to student success has spanned multiple roles, including seven years as both an Academic Counselor and Program Director for USI’s TRIO: Student Support Services program. In addition to his clinical work, he contributes to the academic mission of USI as an adjunct faculty member in the Social Work Department where he teaches both undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Further, Dr. Pryor is a former district one administrative senator. Beyond the campus, he spent six years conducting clinical assessments at Brentwood Springs in Newburgh, Indiana, working with individuals seeking support for substance use and mental health concerns. He has also served his community through roles at United Caring Services and Aurora, including time as a case manager with the Homeless Outreach Team. A proud USI alumnus, he holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work, a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership, and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. Dr. Pryor was recently recognized as Adjunct Instructor of the Year in fall 2024, named Pott College’s Distinguished Graduate in Education in spring 2025, and was selected as an inaugural peer reviewer for Transforming Communities, a newly launched academic journal based at Utah State University. Michelle Kirk
Bringing my experience as the manager of Disability Resources and a dedicated member of the USI community, I am interested in serving on the Administrative Senate. My commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all administrative staff, especially our vulnerable populations, is informed by my active participation on several college committees and my role as the co- advisor for Best Buddies. My perspective is further broadened by my appointment to the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Advisory Board on Disability Services, where I engage with community-wide disability issues and contribute to finding impactful solutions. I am committed to bringing this comprehensive understanding to the Senate to advocate effectively for my colleagues. I appreciate your support!

Macy Holtz
My name is Macy Holtz, and I have been working in the Bursar’s Office as the Billing Coordinator since 2021 and before I started in the Bursar’s Office, I worked in the Campus store since 2015. I completed my undergrad degree from USI in 2019 and graduated with my MBA from USI in 2021.
Hannah Perigo
Hi, I’m Hannah Perigo—a Human Resources Business Partner who loves helping people grow and thrive at work. I graduated from USI in 2012 and am currently working toward my MBA. When I’m not diving into HR projects or hitting the books, I enjoy staying active, traveling, and spending time with my sweet 6.5-year-old daughter, who’s super excited to start second grade soon.

Sara Deal
Sara graduated from the University of Southern Indiana in 2019 and currently serves as the manager of the Special Events department. She enjoys creating memorable experiences through her work and takes pride in building connections across campus. In December 2025, Sara is excited to be completing her second undergraduate degree, furthering her commitment to personal and professional growth. At home, she enjoys spending time with her two adorable cats, traveling, trying new foods, and reading. Sara is enthusiastic about serving as a supportive and engaged member of the Administrative Senate and is dedicated to contributing to its mission and supporting the broader goals of the University.

Spence Farmer
Spence Farmer is an Instructional Designer in the Online and Adult Learning Department, where he partners with faculty to develop online and hybrid courses at USI. A recipient of the 2023 IACTE Outstanding Future Educator Award, Spence couples frontline teaching experience with study in project management in USI’s MBA program. His work is grounded in a commitment to accessible, high impact education. When he’s not at his desk, you will find Spence at Chic-fil-A or his favorite coffee shop.
Blake Whitehouse
My name is Blake Whitehouse, and I am from Boonville, Indiana. Currently, I serve as an Area Coordinator in the Housing and Residence Life Department. I graduated from USI in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Theatre Arts. I am currently continuing my education by pursuing a master's degree in English, with eventual plans to earn a second master’s degree in Public Administration. Throughout my life, I've enjoyed helping others and doing my best to improve the lives of my friends and colleagues. In keeping with that mindset, I firmly believe that running for the Administrative Senate is the best opportunity to continue making a positive impact.

Senator At-Large Nominations
Lesley Groves
Lesley Groves is the current Assistant Director of Corporate Partnerships and Customized Training in USI’s Outreach and Engagement Department. She graduated with her MPA from USI in 2014. Lesley worked at USI from 2011 - 2015 in Rice Library, also serving on Staff Council during that time. After completing her MPA, Lesley left the University to work in fundraising for local non-profits for about 8 years. She returned to USI in 2023 in her current role. “I’m excited about the opportunity to serve on Administrative Senate, representing the voices and interests of my fellow USI employees.”
Will Phillips
Will Phillips has worked as an Academic Advisor for students in the College of Liberal Arts since July 2023. He is a first-generation college student and was a recipient of the 21st Century Scholarship, both of which inform his proactive and empathetic advising approach. Will received his bachelor's degree in psychology and is currently working on his MBA, both from USI. He is passionate about holistic student success and helping make positive change across campus. If elected to Administrative Senate, he hopes to advocate for administrators with thoughtfulness, collaboration, and drive.
