Activity Points

Honors students are expected to engage with the campus and community through events and activities that promote learning, service, and connection.

Requirements

  • Earn an average of 3 activity points per semester, totaling around 6 per academic year
  • If you fail to meet this requirement over the course of the academic year, you will be placed on Honors Alert
  • You must make up your missed points and also earn the expected amount the following semester to return to good standing
  • Complete the activity points form to receive credit for your involvement in events.

Exceptions & Special Cases

  • Studying abroad? You're exempt from the activity point requirement during that semester
  • Joining mid-semester? Your point requirement will be pro-rated
  • Details will be included in your acceptance email
