Media Kit
Steven J. Bridges will formally be installed as the fifth President of the University of Southern Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2025, in Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles. He will give an inaugural address following the investiture. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
As part of the ceremony, representatives of colleges and universities throughout the Midwest will participate, along with USI faculty, in the academic procession. Participants will wear traditional academic regalia, many wearing the colors of the institution they represent. Additional guests may include, state and local legislators, government officials, USI trustees, former USI presidents and other USI representatives.

Media Credentials
All members of the media are required to sign in and pick up a media access badge before entering Liberty Arena, Home of the Screaming Eagles. Members of the media should access the Arena and pick up credentials at the set of double doors located to the left of the main entrance and will call booth. John or Kaylee will meet members of the media at this entrance, sign them in and issue an Arena access badge. Media will be escorted to the media platform, section 104, accessed from the second level. An elevator to the second level of the Arena is available if needed. Access to any other areas of the Arena must be coordinated with John or Kaylee. It is important not to block entry/egress for guests, event staff, the processional and others in the Arena. All media must have their credentials visible in the Arena.
Media Parking
A limited number of media parking spots will be reserved in Lot C, Bay 4 in front of Liberty Arena.
